The Trans-Oceanic Trade Tech Alliance or TOTTA is a think tank focused on advancing and accelerating the digitization of trade and trade-related financing, amplifying trade-based global growth, inclusion, and sustainable development.
BACKGROUND
TOTTA will focus on ‘last mile’ digital adoption and targeted areas of activity that are complementary and additive to the work of other top-tier Organizations in this sphere, while concurrently being at the leading edge of innovation, discourse, and policy development. Illustrative themes include MSME engagement in digital trade, digital trade financing, additive manufacturing and digital supply chains, cryptocurrencies and CBDCs among others.
TOTTA is committed to inclusiveness, collaboration, and impact at global scale. We recognize the value-creation power of international commerce across economic, social and political dimensions, and the transformative potential of digitization adoption.
THE THINK TANK
Our objective is to bring thoughtful, creative, and innovative elements and solutions to the evolving discourse on equitable, inclusive trade, and to do so for the ultimate advancement of the international community – including those parts that have perhaps benefitted less from globalization than others. Our work is firmly anchored in principles of sustainability and unequivocally linked to the advancement of digital international trade.
